Our Legacy — Since 1867

We, Ashtekar and Sons, have been artisans in the art of crafting exquisite gold, silver and diamond jewellery for an extensive period of time. Our legacy spans over a century, during which we have earned a cherished place in the hearts of our esteemed clientele.

Our journey commenced in 1867, when Tryambakrao Ashtekar, the great-grandfather of Suresh Ashtekar, founded Ashtekar & Sons in the village of Ashti, in the Jalna district near Aurangabad. From 1893 onwards, Babasaheb Ashtekar, grandfather of Suresh Ashtekar, took an oath to perpetuate the family's tradition of creating exquisite gold, silver and diamond jewellery. The responsibility then passed to Uttamrao Ashtekar, father of Suresh Ashtekar, in 1931, when he took charge in Nashik.

After the advent of free India, Suresh Ashtekar assumed the mantle in 1971, carrying forward the rich heritage, and continued the legacy until 1999. Soon after, Sushil Suresh Ashtekar began his own journey, and today Sushil Ashtekar, son of Suresh Ashtekar, bears the sole responsibility of Ashtekar & Sons.
